Is PayAustria secure?
Yes – the app uses tokenization through Visa and Mastercard. No real card data is stored on the device.
Can I pay contactless everywhere with PayAustria?
Yes – wherever NFC payments with Visa or Mastercard are accepted.
Does it cost anything to use PayAustria?
No – the app is free for end users. Any fees are covered by banks and merchants.
